​​What to Expect

Inland Cafe & Tea is a great place to host a group event that is fun, memorable, and absolutely delicious. No matter what you’re celebrating: birthday party, baby shower, bridal shower, retirement party, work party, fundraiser- We’re honored to be part of it! Since our cafe specializes in from-scratch baking and made-to-order foods, we have created a specialized party package menu that will provide you and your guests with a delightful high tea experience that will time stamp your memories.

Our space can provide a maximum seating of 40 guests. We have different guidelines for groups based on the size and needs of the group. Please refer below to the applicable description. ​Commonly Asked: 
Outside desserts are allowed, however, we only allow desserts made in a licensed kitchen. There will be a $2.00 per person charge on all outside desserts. Included in this charge is extra napkins, plates, & flatware. To avoid this charge, you may purchase desserts made from our kitchen.

Note: 
Groups exceeding 6 guests will have an order minimum of $10 per guest before tax and gratuity.


Groups Between 5-12

For parties between 5-12 guests, we ask that you preorder all foods, and any relevant details, in order to serve you and your guests promptly. You may choose anything from our party package menu, our lunch menu, or we may customize a menu if needed. For groups larger than 8 guests, we ask that you preorder 2-3 teas to have at your table(s.) These teas will be served in pots that your server will refill with tea as needed. This ensures hot tea, space on your tables, and prompt service. We require this preorder three days prior to the day of your party. (Not including days we are closed. Ex. Sundays and holidays.) We are able to accommodate groups of up to 10 guests at one table, or up to 12 guests at two (close-by) tables. If you have greater than 10 guests, and do not wish to have separate tables, please see the “Private Groups of 13+” below.
We have a one check policy for parties greater than 12. If other arrangements need to be made, please let us know ahead of time so that we may serve you better. Please confirm the guest count and menu selection 3 days prior to your reservation. (You will be charged for the number of guests confirmed-tax and gratuity included.)

Private Groups of 13+

For private parties of 13 guests or greater, we ask that your party stay within a 2 hour time frame, with a space rent charge of $100. If more time is needed please let us know; there is a $50 per half hour charge over the 2 hour time limit. Please note that we may have other reservations after your time slot, and we appreciate your cooperation in time management. If the staff is unable to start efficiently cleaning the space after the 2 hour time frame, then the $50 extra time charge will be applied (without the time slot being extended). Please remind your guests to arrive on time so your party will run smoothly. Time slots for private events are either: 10:30am-12:30pm, or 2-4pm. You may also come in early to decorate if desired.
(Don’t Worry! Decoration time is not included within your 2 hour time slot)
We ask that you preorder your food choices in order to get it out to you promptly. You may choose anything from our party package menu, or we may customize a menu if needed. A $300 deposit is required upon making the reservation to confirm your spot. The deposit will be applied to the space rent charge and towards your preorder. The deposit can be refunded if cancellation is more than 3 of our business days notice. If it is less than 3 of our business days, only $225 will be refunded. Deposits can only be made with a debit/credit card.
There is an order minimum of $400 for Private Events. This total may include cost of food, drink, room rent, tax, and and gratuity.
